Beautiful Antique Persian Persian Hamadan Rug that will withstand heavy traffic

This rug was handwoven with sturdy wool of Magnificent quality around the 1920s. The colors are still vibrant but a bit more subdued than they appear in the photo. It will stand up to heavy traffic areas such as an entranceway, the bottom or middle landing of a staircase, or a hallway. Heavy traffic will not harm it but only make it more beautiful. In the originating country, Persia, they put this type of rug on the sidewalks to be trampled upon to subdue its colors and enhance its beauty. It is in excellent condition, and all sides and ends have been secured. It was washed by hand and ready for use. It measures 41 inches by 58 inches.
