Antique Handwoven Rug

This rug was handwoven from sturdy, high-quality wool around the 1920s. The colors are still vibrant but a bit more subdued than they appear in the photo. It will withstand heavy traffic areas such as an entranceway, the bottom of a staircase, or a hallway. Heavy traffic will not harm it but only make it more beautiful. In the originating country, they put this type of rug on the sidewalks to be trampled upon to subdue its colors and enhance its beauty. It is in very good condition, clean, and ready for use. It measures 41 inches by 58 inches.
